HR expert and bestselling author Dan Schawbel knows there are better ways to entice people back to the office.

After having seen the preferences of Italians regarding agile work , and analyzed the expenses required to work in the office , we summarized some of Schawbel's key concepts in a series of interviews such as the one reported below, together with the results of a survey conducted by Capterra on 2,716 employees around the world with the aim of highlighting the engagement strategies and HR platforms capable of making a difference.

Tip 1. Policies to encourage return to the office must france number data , not eliminate, a hybrid model: so promote strategic planning
“I think we’re all going to be working hybrid in the long run,” Schawbel says. “It’s definitely the best combination for people who understand the importance of working in the office but don’t want to give up the freedom and flexibility of working remotely.”

So, what should you do in practice? Instead of imposing fixed days and times for in-person work, you could establish more flexible guidelines to allow your employees to avoid traffic or transportation congestion and reach the office at times that are more convenient for them.

Capterra shows how this strategy can be more effective than other more expensive and complex benefits aimed at encouraging employees to return to the office.

flexible working hours at work
In fact, based on the responses provided by the study participants, flexible work planning turned out to be one of the most important advantages compared to other options such as reimbursement of transport costs and childcare (chosen by 64% and 27% of participants, respectively).
