3 key points to understand brand awareness

Post by RafiRiFat336205 »

Today, in a dialectical act, I would like to invite the always important reader to reflect on three simple questions that are directly related to the compelling topic that we joyfully want to delve into today.

Are you ready? I hope so, if not, here is a complete prayer to get you ready.

Okay, ready or not, here we go;

One, what is the name of your first year teacher?

Two, what is the name of your favorite series that you watched as a child?, and

three; What is your mom's birthday?

Were you able to answer them all?

Maybe you got all three right; maybe your first grade teacher all india phone number was the same one you had until later in high school and you remember her name somewhat. Without a doubt, you remember at least one TV series that you watched more than once and that was somehow significant to you.

However, I'm sure that in your consciousness there is the notion that your mother has a birthday every year, just like all the rest of us mortals here. Maybe you're not 100% sure of the exact date or year in which your mother was confronted with the oxygen we breathe for the first time, but you do know for sure the month in which you celebrate her name day (otherwise, how embarrassing!).

Well, what the heck does all this have to do with Awareness? Well, it has to do with exemplifying three key aspects to understand the concept of awareness in Marketing.

For Spanish-speaking marketers, sometimes it is not only difficult for us to understand the concept of awareness, but also for some of us it is difficult to pronounce it and even worse, to say it out loud in front of others. The reason for this is that, in my opinion, many times due to ignorance or fear of making a mistake, we have systematically downplayed the importance of this concept in teaching, which is not only a major mistake, but a way of restricting the approach to how marketing works in relation to sales and the quantitative impact it has on the business, regardless of the nature of the business we are dealing with. And it does not matter if it is to sell clothes to consumers through a website or a financial big data application, for global corporations, awareness is the starting point to achieve the precious sales and business goals, which are so important in maintaining our salary, that of the team and the maintenance of the company over time.
