Define a new measure in the DAX Quick Query view
Great news for Power BI users! Creating measures in DAX query view is now easier than ever. With the new Quick Queries option, available in the context menu of tables, columns, and other elements in the Data pane, you can select “Define new measure.”

This function automatically generates a new query table with the initial syntax, ready for you to add your custom DAX formula. Once you're done, simply run the query and your measure will be ready to use.
