Not having questions is a sure sign that you are doin

I define it as hybrid because it has 2 typical mixed formats: classic 1-speaker presentation and classic panel discussion.

The name "Hybrid" was given to the format by Bob Ruffolo , the story is that they prepared a webinar for us with him and when I explained the format to him, Rob immediately said: "Ah, hybrid format", and that's how the name was born.

I thought this format was ideal because it allowed us to break the monotony of a long presentation, bring in different approaches and make a spectacle out of a classic webinar, the boring kind I already told you about before.

But I was wrong, because the initial audience reaction was 50/50.

I could see that many people left after the presentation and did not consider that the discussion was going to provide them with any value, they clearly thought it was all going to be just blah-blah-blah.

Even some experts didn't like it (some still don't) because they have done hundreds of webinars and don't want to change anything.

Where we first started to see changes was in the “Advanced” webinars, the audience stood up and walked away after the presentation and the number of questions steadily increased.

After that, “Intermediate” webinars started to show the same trend, so “educating your audience is probably as important as pleasing them” was the lesson I learned.

The experts (well, most of them) accepted the new format and after the first participation they became true defenders of our “experiment”.

After establishing “Hybrid” as an important format for us, we decided to try series.

Webinar series usually have the same approach and the same thematic categories and take place regularly, for example, once a month.

Regardless of what you do, a webinar needs some kind of promoti
