How to Use the Power Slider in Windows 10
The power slider is available on laptops, tablets, and convertibles running on battery power in Windows 10 starting with build 1709. To access the power slider, click or tap the battery icon in the system tray lower-right corner of the screen.


When on battery power, the slider offers four settings: Best Battery Life Battery Saver , Best Battery Life or Recommended , Best Performance , and Best Performance .
