Whether you want to lead a team of people, manage and lead projects, or influence others, the iLEAD program will enable you to develop the leadership skills necessary to help you thrive in those areas. I am so excited and grateful for this unparalleled opportunity to learn from top executive speakers and become part of the elite services team. I am armed with my Reflective Learning Journals that I have built over the past six months; I am ready to take on any challenges and opportunities that come my way. The journey continues and I am looking forward to seeing where it takes me.
A journey towards self-knowledge
The iLEAD program has reminded me of the journey I have been on, the changing ecosystem of the regions I have lived and worked in, and the person I have become over the years. Recognizing both my strengths and weaknesses is a crucial starting point in my ongoing quest for self-improvement and personal growth.
The first day was filled with introspection and self-discovery. As I sat down to reflect how to get telegram profile link on my thoughts, emotions, and experiences, I was reminded of the importance of taking time to understand oneself deeply, practicing self-awareness, and not leaving anything to chance.
I also pride myself on my great ability to adapt to change and my ability to learn quickly. In today's fast-paced world, the ability to adapt and evolve is a must, and I am grateful for my innate ability to embrace change and thrive in dynamic environments. So, my personal brand doesn't stop here, but continues to evolve to better manifest my plans and to insist and persist in what I want to become.
By embracing my strengths, addressing my weaknesses, and staying curious about who I am and who I can become, commitment to the iLEAD program is about continued self-discovery and personal growth.
Strategic Agility: Adapting Plans for Success
The second module was a deep dive into the realm of strategy and planning, the fundamental principles of “why, what, how.” These three elements form the cornerstone of effective decision making, bringing clarity, direction, and purpose to any effort. First, I had to understand that the core of any strategic initiative lies in the question “why.” Understanding the purpose and vision behind a particular course of action is essential to aligning efforts, bringing stakeholders together, and driving meaningful change. Understanding the why behind decisions is not only paramount, it also defines long-term goals and shapes the future look of the organization.
Furthermore, for people who want to improve their financial acumen and contribute to business decision-making, understanding the “what” involves familiarizing yourself with relevant financial metrics, performance indicators, and strategic priorities. The content was entirely new to me, so I had to do some proactive learning by seeking mentorship from experienced professional colleagues.
