Sweltering heat to continue for two more days

News Desk: The sky of the country is clearer than what is meant by autumn sky. Those clouds like cotton are not seen. All the clouds are gathering in the central Bay of Bengal, a low pressure is being formed. After spreading heat for another two to three days, the normal monsoon rain flow 'Niloy' will bring rain by the end of the week.
Mazharul Islam, assistant meteorologist at Patenga Meteorological Office, said, "There are no clouds in the sky of the country. Due to the low air pressure here, the monsoon is currently inactive over the country. Therefore, the temperature is increasing. There is a lot of sunshine and sweltering heat. There are no signs of improvement in country email list this situation today. However, a low pressure is condensing in the central Bay of Bengal. Rain will be seen by the end of the week."
He also said, "After the end of the heat wave, a moderate rain flow will enter the country's skies. Under its influence, there will be rainfall from September 19 to 23."
Regarding the low pressure forming in the sea, he said, "There is no reason for concern. The air pressure is quite far away and in a very weak state. Therefore, the country's coast is safe. However, the situation may change from this afternoon. It may turn into a strong low pressure and cross the Odisha coast of India late on September 20 or early on September 21. Due to this, rain may occur in Barisal and Khulna divisions from this afternoon to September 24."
He said that the continuous average wind speed within 44 kilometers of the low-pressure center is 30 kilometers per hour, which is increasing to about 50 kilometers per hour. Due to this, the sea is rough in the low-pressure center.
He further said that the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal is unlikely to reach Bangladesh. Due to its impact, rain may occur in Barisal and Khulna divisions. As a result, there is no sign of the intensity of the heat across the country decreasing. The situation may return to normal after the low pressure passes.
The Patenga Meteorological Office said that the highest temperature recorded in Chittagong yesterday was 35.2 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 28 degrees Celsius. Earlier, the highest temperature recorded in the city last Sunday was 34.9 degrees Celsius. Yesterday, the temperature in most parts of the country was above 35 degrees Celsius.
