Why Do Smart Processes and Smart Businesses Need Them?

Automation is when something becomes automatic, right? Right. Also, when we say something is automated, it means that it was previously done manually, which is another clue to fully understand the concept of automation.
Here's a real-life example that explains this concept better than any 500-page book.
Example 1
