Elementor update for better user experience

Post by rumana777 »

Elementor is also reacting to the new Core Web Vitals becoming a ranking factor on Google - now only from June. The popular WordPress page builder plugin has announced an update that is intended to improve page loading times. Specifically, there is talk of optimized loading of assets, JavaScript/CSS libraries, optimized internal JavaScript and CSS, optimized backend and rendering processes, and a leaner code output. There will also be an option for publishers to show how Google Fonts can be loaded more efficiently. In this way, Elementor wants to deliver the website code more efficiently and thus help publishers to offer their website visitors a better user experience and thus rank better.

Although some web servers - such as Windows Server (IIS) - ignore upper and lower case URLs, other web servers (e.g. Apache) differentiate in this regard. Technically, URLs also differ depending on whether rcs data netherlands upper or lower case letters are used. As John Müller announced on Twitter, Google also takes upper and lower case into account when crawling and indexing. For example, URLs with upper and lower case that point to the same content can be indexed individually and create duplicate content. To avoid this, you should ensure that the correct canonical URLs are selected. This can be achieved through internal linking, URLs in the sitemap or by setting canonical links.

Facebook has announced that it will tailor the News Feed more closely to the interests of users. To do this, users will be asked to provide feedback on the posts displayed over the next few months. After a post has been displayed, the question is asked whether it was worth the time to look at the post. If the answer is yes, the article will receive a better ranking. Facebook has planned the following questions: Is the post inspiring? Is the post interesting? Do you want to see fewer of these posts? Do you want to hide this post? Users' feedback on these questions will provide Facebook with important ranking signals. This survey is intended to provide better insights into which posts are really popular than just ranking them based on comments, likes and shares.
