Software testing is a set of processes for examining, evaluating, and ensuring the completeness and quality of software written for computers. It ensures the compliance of the software product with respect to regulatory, business, technical, functional, and user requirements.

Software testing is a large process mainly composed of many interconnected processes. The main america rcs data objective of software testing is to measure the completeness of the software with respect to its basic requirements. Software testing involves testing and examining the software through various testing processes. The objectives of these processes may include:
Testing the completeness of the software against functional/business requirements
Identifying bugs/technical errors and ensuring that the software is error-free Evaluating
usability, performance, security, localization, compatibility, and installation
All tests must be passed for the tested software to be complete or fit for use. Some of the different types of software testing methods include white box testing, black box testing, and gray box testing. Additionally, software testing can be done in its entirety, components/units, or in a live system.
