3. Design action-oriented CTAs

Post by Dimaeiya333 »

One of the most relevant features of a good CTA is a button that motivates the audience. For this reason, it is recommended that sentences begin with action verbs such as: open, try, get, save, etc. It is important to keep in mind to avoid words that indicate actions that users may not want to perform, for example: download, register, etc. Although their use is not prohibited, they must be used with caution, since there are people who will not want to download anything unless you first tell them what benefit they will get from it. In this way, saying: “Download here” is not the same as saying “Get this PDF for free.”

4. Speak in the first person

Although CTAs can be formulated in the second person, according to a study by Forbes magazine, using terms in the first person increases the number of conversions by 90% . This is because the action is rec afghanistan mobile database eived from the user's perspective. For example, instead of using only the verb "to get", you could use "I want" or "I wish to get".

5. It must include a sense of urgency

Creating a sense of urgency, whether it be time or a limit on products offered, tends to generate users who are more inclined to perform a certain action, for example, purchasing products, services or subscribing to a newsletter.

This phenomenon can be explained by the law of supply and demand : the less availability of a good, the greater the demand for it. However, this is a good resource for creating a CTA, but always considering that in Inbound Marketing and Content Marketing we must implement it with subtlety because we seek to attract the prospect and not interrupt their daily routine.

6. Add additional information

But not just any information, it should resolve the prospect's doubts, or enhance the attractiveness of the product, service or reason that leads to the decision. It is advisable to offer opinions, testimonials and in general a good reason why the future client should take a certain action.

Including filler or unoptimized information should be avoided at all costs, as this will distract people and cause them to get lost in the process.

7. Consider creativity as your best ally

CTA text should not only be compelling, but also eye-catching. In this sense, when designing a copy, you should make sure that it does not go unnoticed and stands out from others. The use of colors plays a prominent role , since they have interesting effects on people's brains. However, the copy should be attractive but not exaggerated, avoiding it being unnatural.
