How to make a perch with your own hands
The beams for the perches are processed so that they have rounded corners and edges. They should be 2-5 cm wide. Depending on the needs, it is necessary to saw the beams into pieces of a certain size so that it is convenient to attach them to the wall and to each other (if a multi-tiered perch is made). It is important to sand the bars or grind them with a machine so that they are smooth. If necessary, you can also burn them with a burner or blowtorch to prevent rotting and the development of pests in the wood.

As you can see, making perches for chickens is not difficult. This is a fairly simple design, which, however, greatly simplifies the life of not only chickens and roosters, but also the breeder. But do not forget that the perches must be cleaned as often as possible and disinfected every six months to prevent diseases and pests from breeding.
