The work of a social media manager is inevitably connected with monitoring and analyzing statistics, as well as preparing reports not only for themselves, but also for the Client. In addition to data available directly in applications (e.g. Instagram and Facebook for Business), we also have at our disposal software that effectively and transparently creates ready-made reports in a few clicks: HootSuite, Buffer, Later or SocialPilot . In this article, I will deal with the last proposal.

What does SocialPilot offer us?
At the start, we get free access to the full version for 14 days. A nice convenience is that we do not have to provide a credit card when registering - a good option for the forgetful. In addition, free trials are a rule for every social media reporting tool . Thanks to this software, we can also schedule posts and moderate them, but let's focus only and exclusively on reporting. SocialPilot supports Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Tumbrl, Google MyBusiness and VK (VKontakte).

What data does the SocialPilot report provide? First, we get an overview of basic statistics, such as the number of followers, profile views, reach, clicks, and reactions . In addition to the total results, we also get a percentage comparison in relation to the previous period.

The following pages are an overview of demographic data - the gender and age of the recipients of our social media profiles, the locations where they come from (city and country), as well as a cross-section of their activity on our profile (times of day and days of the week).

Then we move on to reviewing the post statistics - reach, engagement, likes, comments, number of saved posts, and the total number of published content . You can also grant access to the account to other people from the team and to the Clients themselves. SocialPilot offers three sizes of paid packages - professional (including 25 connected accounts, two Facebook ad accounts and 3 team members), Small Team (50 accounts and 5 FB ads and the same number of team members) and Agency (100 social media accounts and 10 FB ad accounts and team members). Note! The Professional option does not allow you to download reports.

Reports are delivered as white label emails , i.e. in a personalized form - they contain the logo, the name of the brand they concern, etc. They look aesthetically pleasing, are clear and easy to read and analyze. All you have to do is download them, which takes less than a minute. You can download a report for a week, month or quarter. Now it's up to you how you will analyze the available reports and what conclusions you will draw from them depending on what indicators of social media effectiveness your strategy assumes.

The problem with SocialPilot is that it does not offer a Polish language version. We can only choose from English, German and Spanish.
