Setting up a Facebook fanpage – step-by-step configuration

Post by sumaiyakhatun24 »

It's simple: follow the instructions and fill out your profile. To make it look its best, you'll need a few graphics (their dimensions can be found in my post about Facebook graphics dimensions ).

A profile picture in square format (usually the brand logo)
Background photos, or cover photos – preferably in dimensions of 851×315 pixels (if you have a larger graphic, you will be able to determine how Facebook should crop it to the above dimensions)
That's enough to get you started! Want to create these graphics yourself? You'll find the following posts useful:

free graphic programs - here you will find tools that will make it possible
how to create graphics for Facebook - here you will find some tips on what to follow austria rcs data when creating them
From a purely visual perspective, that's it. You still need to add a few more elements.

Company or brand details,
a short description of the activity (155 characters max),
the username that will appear after the slash after "facebook.com" (should be the same or consistent with the company name),
CTA button,
website address,
contact details.
Thanks to this, potential customers and fans will learn everything that is most important about you right from your fanpage and will be able to contact you.

Voilà! You already know how to set up a fanpage on Facebook. Or maybe you even created it step by step, following this guide? Of course, these are not all the configuration options.

There are a number of small decisions and many options available to you. Facebook bots, blocking profanity, configuring bookmarks, services or products (depending on what you do). I will deal with this on another occasion. If you have any questions – write to me!
