On the right side, double-click the InitialKeyboardIndicators entry to edit it.
If the InitialKeyboardIndicators entry doesn't exist, right-click an empty area, point to New , and then select String Value . Name it InitialKeyboardIndicators .
Restart your computer to apply the new settings.
Disable fast startup
Disabling Fast Startup can help Windows remember the state of Num Lock between reboots, although it may increase boot times slightly.
Click the Start button and type Control Panel. Select Control Panel from the results.
