A few weeks ago I was invited to the presentation of the National Index of “Innovative and Entrepreneurial Attitude” , a study in which we participated as a Corporation. Days before the meeting, I am still thinking about the results, taiwan number example not only because they provided valuable data on the perception of innovation in our country, but also because it reaffirms that we are on the right path with the purposes that guide our work in the Mentors Network.
Generally, when we hear the term 'innovation', we associate it with technological or digital aspects, which is quite far from the reality of many ventures in the traditional sector that we support at Simón de Cirene. For the purposes of this reflection and what the index shows, innovation is largely an ATTITUDE that invites us to do things in a different way.
The study also highlights the importance of partnership and the ability to connect with others as essential components for innovation. And that resonates strongly with us! Our Mentor Network is centered on people, on the possibility of connecting with leaders of micro and small businesses throughout Chile, understanding that together we can achieve great things.
This is precisely what we hope entrepreneurs and their mentors will discover: that collaborative work can open up endless opportunities for improvement and growth. At Simón de Cirene, we firmly believe in this approach and have seen how the value of collaboration can change realities, not only in business but also in people and their environment.
That is to say, if you have, for example, a warehouse, a bakery or a sewing workshop, there are many innovations to implement and they do not necessarily go hand in hand with a technological investment. Sometimes a simple change in the way we record sales or how we take orders can mean an increase in income or a great saving of time.
It is precisely in the field of collaboration where we feel we can make a significant difference. Our close, expert and personalized support aims to foster a collaborative network culture, where the exchange of ideas, the sharing of knowledge and the building of bonds of trust are the driving force that drives our entrepreneurs to achieve their goals.
To close, I'm going to share a video by Victor Küppers. It's called 'The value of your attitude' which I found very inspiring, because it focuses on the fact that although knowledge and skills add up, ATTITUDE is exponential.
All the reflection and results surrounding this study led me to only one conclusion: our work as a Network is closely aligned with the purpose of connecting with people and building bridges, because we work with them and we understand that they are the ones who generate significant changes.
As our motto says, the key to promoting and encouraging these links lies in acting with affection and in this way causing multiplying and lasting effects.
