Organizations at the "Integrated/Strategic" level have fully integrated a DAM system into all relevant business processes. The DAM system is largely connected to all relevant applications that work with media files via standardized interfaces. The company runs its own systems continuously and independently or with the support of analyses and assessments from external experts. The processes and tools are therefore able to meet current and future requirements.
Digital asset management can only reach its full potential if it is technically and operationally integrated. By being deeply rooted in the system landscape of an organization, the planned processes and procedures can also be implemented and successes measured.
An example evaluation
In an acquisition conversation, you can use this simplified DAM Material Model to determine a company's DAM competence.
To do this, you mark the corresponding competency level for the respective ghana consumer email list operational component so that you optimally receive new competency values.
For example, you can use statistical evaluations to determine the minimum and maximum value as well as the empirical variance and the average value. The higher the average value and the lower the variance, the more optimally and effectively the company uses a DAM system.
In the figure above, an average of 1.78 with a variance of 0.44 would result, i.e. a below-average, fairly evenly distributed value. This would be a fairly typical value for a company that uses a file server as a central media management with an AD connection and collaboration via Dropbox or Microsoft Teams.
Based on the evaluation of the maturity level, the next steps for optimizing media management in a company can be discussed and appropriate measures can be initiated.
