Has the end of trust-based working hours been announced?

Post by asimj1 »

According to the current Working Hours Act, employers must already ensure that

the regular working hours do not exceed an average of 8 hours per working day or 48 hours per week.
employees work a maximum of 10 hours per day or a maximum of 60 hours per week.
employees must take at least 30 minutes break during an 8-hour day .
employees must have a rest period of south africa rcs data at least 11 hours after the end of their daily working hours before starting work again.
In order for a violation of these rules to be noticed, an employer must first record the working hours of his employees.

Many companies - perhaps yours too - have so-called trust-based working hours . Here, the employer completely refrains from defining the start and end of work. Instead, he relies on his employees to complete their tasks without a boss breathing down their necks and to keep an eye on their own working hours. The value of the work is measured by the results and not by the time spent there, and there is nothing against this in the law.
