Google announced that it will limit the free storage space of "Google Photos" and also "Google Drive" in June 2021. Anyone who wants unlimited storage space in the Google Cloud will then have to take out a Google One subscription. However, Google is merciful to its loyal users. Files uploaded before June 2021 will remain after the change and will not be included in the storage space quota. In addition, 15 gigabytes of free storage space are still available in Google services - according to Google estimates, this should be enough for most users for around 3 years before they have to purchase a subscription.
