Investigation and visualization of the data

Post by Reddi1 »

For the study, the first and last search queries in a search query path are analyzed and assigned to a search query type. The number of corresponding search query types is summarized in a table for the search start and the search completion.

The tables of the study (Tables 1 and 2) consist of the columns Search query type , Number of searches , and Percentage . There is also a row for each search query type, as well as another row that sums up the number of searches.

In addition, the visualization consists of a ring diagram for the search start and the search completion. The ring diagram itself consists of the parts information-oriented, navigation-oriented, and transaction-oriented, depending on the number of each search query type.

The subsequent comparisons between search entries and search completions are presented in the form of bar charts.

Results:
Table 1 shows the number of search queries per search bangladesh phone number data query type, as well as their percentage of the total number of search queries. The largest share of all search entries is the transaction-oriented search query type at 56.20%. More than half of all search paths therefore begin with the intention of buying or downloading something.

Only a little more than 25% want to find out information or look for information about a product or service in the first step of their search.

The smallest share of the search entry analysis is the navigation-oriented search query type at 18.40%. Accordingly, the search entry in this analysis is used least often to access a specific website.

Figure 1 shows the distribution of search query types in a ring diagram. The relatively large proportion of transaction-oriented search queries is particularly evident.

Table 2 shows the results of examining the last and final search query in a search path.

In contrast to Table 1, the distribution of search queries between navigation-oriented and information-oriented shows a very similar percentage share. Compared to the search entry, search queries with an informational intention have fallen from 25.40% to 22.40%. Navigation-oriented search queries, on the other hand, have increased from 18.40% to 21.80% of the total number of search queries.

However, as was the case when examining the search entry, the transaction-oriented search query type remains the search query type with the largest share. 281 of the 500 search queries at the end of the search can be attributed to the transaction-oriented search query type. This corresponds to 56.20% of the total number of search queries.

The information-oriented search query type makes up the second largest percentage of this study. The navigation-oriented search query type therefore represents the smallest share of the total number of search queries. Consequently, the distribution of search queries at the end of the search remains relatively similar to the distribution of search queries at the start of the search.

Conclusion and interpretation of results:
Figure 3 shows the combined results from the study of search initiation and search completion in the form of a bar chart. The chart is designed to illustrate the changes in the percentage of search query types that occur during the search process. From the initial search to the completion of the search, the percentage of navigation-oriented search queries increases. The other two search query types, information-oriented and transaction-oriented, decrease. The extent of these changes is minimal, however.
